Ordering and delivery questions

What sizes do you supply?

6×6 welded wire mesh in 6 gauge (W2.9) and 4 gauge (W4.0), as flat 8 × 20 ft sheets. 10 gauge is open for interest registration on its product page.

Do you sell 4 × 8 ft sheets?

Not as a standard size. An 8 × 20 ft sheet can be cut down on site, or ask us about a custom size.

Do you sell rolls?

Not as a standard product. Tell us if you need them.

How do I cut mesh sheets?

Bolt cutters for a few cuts; a cut-off wheel on a grinder for a lot of them. Wear eye protection and gloves, and keep cut ends inside the concrete.

How many sheets do I need?

Use the mesh calculator. It allows for laps between sheets, which most rough counts forget.

How fast can I get mesh?

Lead time for new orders is 14 weeks. Tell us the date you need the mesh when you request a quote.

Do you deliver to site?

Yes. We quote delivery to your site or yard anywhere in Canada. Tell us if the site needs a forklift or crane to unload.

How heavy is a sheet?

About 66 lb (30 kg) for 6 gauge and 91 lb (41 kg) for 4 gauge.

Will it rust in the yard?

A light even surface rust is normal and does not harm bond with concrete. Loose, flaking scale should be brushed off. Store sheets off the ground.

Do I need to tie sheets together?

Tie laps so they don't move during the pour. See the guide on how to lap mesh.
